Chrissie

Chrissie, Chrissie, where do I begin. I don’t know how she, or her daughter Emily, arrived to Farm Sanctuary in Orland, California. Anything is possible, but, like all the other residents, chances are they were rescued from an abusive and neglectful situation where death was the only sure thing.

Chrissie will be turning 21 this year, but she’s still as feisty as ever. Sometimes she’s in a great mood (as great a mood as Ms. Chrissie can be in), and other times she’ll want to run out of the state. Chrissie is definitely a girl who likes things to go her way. If she doesn’t want to leave the barn, you’ll have a hard time trying to get her out. If she doesn’t like you near her, she’ll chase you out of the way. She’s a stubborn lady, but love love loves carrots and banana peels. She can’t get enough of them.

Her brindled fur is super soft and is unique to her, as no other resident at Farm Sanctuary has it. Chrissie is definitely her own self.
